1. How to register, access and manage your Pawa Kash account
1.1 Account registration
If you want to use the products/services on the Pawa Kash platform, you first need to register a Pawa Kash account. To create an account on the Pawa Kash platform, we need to collect your mobile phone number and use it to mark your identity. If you refuse to provide your mobile phone number, we will not be able to create an account for you on Pawa Kash or provide you with financial services. Under the same account, we may collect relevant information from your various devices and associate them to provide you with consistent standardized services. If you refuse to provide the necessary information, you may not be able to use our services normally.
1.2 Account login
When you log in to the Pawa Kash app for the first time using your mobile phone number, we will send you a verification code to verify your identity in order to comply with legal requirements and protect the security of your account.
1.3 User personal information authentication
In order to ensure that your information is true and provide you with better services, when using Pawa Kash services, we need to authenticate your personal information (including application for services, payment, repayment, etc.). You need to provide and allow us to collect your identity information (including your name, ID number, date of birth, gender, marital status, education level, work status, whether there are other loans, income, pay time, residential address, your phone number, email address, emergency contact information, your phone number, common chat software account, etc.). We may submit some of this information to a legitimate identity agency to verify its accuracy. This information is considered sensitive information. According to Kenya's financial services law, if you do not provide real-name authentication information, you will not be able to use the products and services of the Pawa Kash platform normally.
1.4 Filling contact information
Before providing emergency contact information, users need to confirm that they have obtained the consent of the emergency contact. The information we collect includes the name and phone number of the emergency contact provided by the user and their relationship with you.
We will only contact the user's emergency contact in compliance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations. For example, when the user is facing potential fraud risks, we will provide the user with the opportunity to understand the security of their funds through the emergency contact.
1.5 Customer service and dispute resolution
To protect the security of your account, our customer service will use your mobile phone number, name, ID number and related order information to verify your identity. When you need to know information related to the transaction, our customer service will also query your identity information, transaction information, browsing information and other information you provide when contacting customer service from the background. When you request customer service to assist in modifying information (such as personal information, contact information, etc.), you may need to provide more information. If you refuse to provide such information, you may not be able to use our services normally. When you contact us, we may retain your call records and related information. Such records will be automatically deleted after the legal retention period (30 days).
1.6 Loan and repayment processing
When using Pawa Kash to borrow or repay, depending on the service, you need to provide bank card account or mobile phone account information. If you refuse to provide the above information, you may not be able to use our services normally.
1.7 Products and information services
We may send you the latest information about products or services, such as Pawa Kash loan product information, advertising promotions, etc., through in-app messages, pop-ups, text messages or phone calls. If you choose not to receive such information, you can contact our customer service to cancel receiving such information or turn off notifications. Turning off notifications will not affect your use of the basic functions of Pawa Kash.
1.8 Order management
When you use Pawa Kash to handle business, the system will automatically generate an order. During the order management process, we may collect the following information:
Loan product related information
Emergency contact and phone number
Order information generated when using Pawa Kash platform products and services, etc.
We collect this information to help you complete order transactions, payment settlement, order inquiry, order management and other related services. We may also use your order information to determine whether your transaction is normal and ensure the security of your transaction. If you do not provide the information required for real-name authentication, you may not be able to use financial products and related services. You may also need further necessary information to complete the use of loan products and services. The specific information will be displayed, prompted or authorized during the loan process. 2. How we collect, process and use your personal information
The data we collect is mainly divided into two parts, the first part is the mobile phone data or system data authorized to us by the user, the second part is the data filled in by the customer when applying for the loan.
2.1 User authorized data
2.1.1 SMS Permissions
Collection type: We collect SMS data from users, but only SMS data related to users' financial transactions, including SMS content, sender number, sending time and other information. In order to collect as little of your data as possible, we only collect SMS data related to your financial transactions every time you borrow money, and only collect SMS data related to your financial transactions in the past three months.

Use: We read, screen and analyze users' SMS data only for assessing users' credit risk and anti-fraud analysis. Credit assessment helps us provide you with appropriate product limits and product interest rates. Risk management and fraud detection, including fraud, money laundering and other illegal activities, use financial-related SMS data as an important basis for assessing users' fraud risks and financial status, and help ensure that you can better use our products and services. You can choose to agree or refuse permission. If you refuse permission, it means that there will be no SMS information and your risk and credit cannot be assessed.
Security: User data will be encrypted and uploaded to our server (https://www.pesaloan.com) via HTTPS protocol, and we promise never to share this data location with third parties.
2.1.2 Phone and Device
Collection type: device name, model, operating system, system version, serial number, Android ID, IMEI number, IMSI number, MAC address, screen size and other hardware information
Processing: We process your device information securely by desensitizing and encrypting the data
Use: By collecting your device information and forming a device fingerprint through an algorithm, it is equivalent to making a unique identity code for your device. The unique device identifier ensures that unauthorized devices will not act on your behalf.

Type of collection: When you register as our user to apply for our loan, you need to fill in your basic information so that we can understand your identity information, including your name, Identification number, date of birth, gender, marital status, education level, job status, whether you have other loans, income status, payday period, residential address, your phone number, email address, emergency contact information, often used social media accounts etc.
Processing: We process your personal filling information securely by desensitizing and encrypting the data
Use: filling of your basic information helps us to understand your basic situation clearly and we will use this basic data for your credit rating.
Security: The basic information data will be encrypted and uploaded to our server https://www.pesaloan.com via HTTPS protocol, and we promise that we will never share this data with third parties.
3.How we share, transfer and publicly disclose your personal information
3.1 Share
We will not share your personal information with any companies, organizations and individuals outside of us, except in the following scenarios:
